2015 Samsung Plants - Samsung scalp of investor associations, Robert Yi, has revealed throughout a presentation in Big apple that the business plans to cut the amount of smartphone models it produces by 25% to 30% in 2015. Using this type of step, Samsung hopes to fight the falling profits which are recorded within the last financial quarter.

Naturally, Samsung investors aren't very pleased with the latest trends and require changes which will head the company to growth. As a result, the company plans to make contact with double-digit percentage margin in 2015. The most important smartphone manufacturer preserved above 15% operating income for 10 consecutive groups, but in Q3 2014 in which number fell to 7%.
There's no more information on which phone models are going to be discontinued in 2015. Reportedly, Samsung's focus will fall for the entry-level and mid-range phone segments. To streamline the process, Samsung will increase the amount of components shared throughout the different models.

Robert Yi also shared that the company will try harder to spotlight the Chinese market place, where Xiaomi overtook it in market talk about. We're yet to find out how the corporation's plans will become actions to understand it back on monitor on its desired strategy to better profit margins and turn number one throughout China again.
